Technical Devices Company is usually sought out to clean circuit boards, medical supplies, and lenses. Many of those applications require the ability to clean small, delicate parts and dry under low clearance components.
Every once in a while, we have a customer completely outside of the Electronics or Medical fields come to us for their cleaning needs. Robinson Helicopter needed a special application machine to clean rotor blades for helicopters. The blades are not solid, but are a honeycomb type construction of light weight metal. All of these surfaces needed to be cleaned after the machining process.
Through a collaborative process between the engineers at Technical Devices Company and Robinson Helicopters, this special Nu/Clean 324 XL was built to meet their cleaning specifications and to accomodate the large size of the rotor blades.
Technical Devices Company has built specialty cleaners for eyeglass lenses, automotive parts, mirrors, bare boards, and now helicopter blades.
